This is a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab “MegaRaptor,” which includes a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine that can almost move a small celestial body, together with the so-called MegaRexx package (thanks to a North Carolina tuner). It should come as no surprise that this truck currently resides in the Lone Star State.
In Texas, people adore large vehicles. Indeed, I have little doubt that these kinds of vehicles would be navigating hurdles en route to the White House if the extremely explosive scenario from the 2024 film “Civil War” actually came to be. Silly aside, it’s important to note that this device can likely traverse almost any terrain.
First things first, though. First, let’s look at what is visible, which is the MegaRexx package and conversion. It includes a power-retractable running board, a dual-pane sunroof, a power-sliding rear window, LED bed lighting, a receiver hitch, flared quarter panels, new bumpers and skid plates, a bed-mounted light bar with fiberglass side panels, and other various custom light units.
The 20-inch-diameter black-finished wheels include Michelin X tires on all four corners in addition to a spare that matches. It’s important to note that this F-350 came equipped with the optional Ford FX4 Off-Road Package, which includes skid protection for the transfer case and fuel tank in addition to Hill Descent Control.
Due to the front axle being shifted 1.5 inches forward, the change also required remodeling the firewall to provide more wheel space. Then there is the 4.5″ suspension raise equipped with remote reservoir shocks and Fox steering stabilizers. It should go without saying that this item is deserving of the nickname “Mega-Raptor,” as it appears on the grille.
Highlights of the interior include the heated and ventilated black leather seats with MegaRaptor embroidery and alligator skin inserts (which are also found on the center console storage lid), a Bang & Olufsen sound system, power-adjustable pedals, adaptive cruise control, and a digital odometer with 7,000 miles displayed.
It’s excellent that the speedometer was updated to account for the larger tire size, according to the selling dealer.
The 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 engine, which has a factory rating of 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, is the key to this vehicle’s performance capabilities. A 10-speed automatic transmission sends everything to the back or all four wheels while the limited-slip rear diff takes care of the rest.
There are just a few hours remaining in the auction, and $XXXXX is the current top bid. Not to mention, this truck came from the manufacturer as a 2022 F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat spec model, costing more than $24,000 and having an MSRP of $81,855.
